The Smithsonian has a new museum – and Ella is in it! OK, you’re right, there’s no "official" building yet, but there is a great exhibit about the historic Apollo Theater in Harlem and Ella (of course) is part of the fun.

This brand-new Smithsonian is just great – right now, they are sharing space at their sister Smithsonian, the National Museum of American History on Constitution Avenue, but soon, they will have a their own brand new building right on the Mall.

Until that time, please visit their "virtual" museum on the web, and head over to the Apollo Theater exhibit if you are in D.C. You’ll love it – we did.*
